Examination
CBSE has remodeled the Assessment Scheme effective from the academic year 2017-18. The examination will be conducted in two terms.
Term – 1 includes
(Periodic Assessment 20 Marks+Half Yearly Exam 80 Marks)
Term – 2 includes
(Periodic Assessment 20 Marks+Annual Exam 80 Marks)
comprises Periodic Test (10 Marks), Note Book submission, Punctuality, Neatness (5 Marks), Subject Enrichment (5Marks).
Co-Scholastic Area: Discipline (Sincerity, attendance, behavior, values, tidiness, respectfulness for rules & regulations, attitude towards society, nation, and others) will be assessed very strictly every month.
Class V to X
The First term - April to September
The Second Term - October to March
Evaluation Method: (A) Evaluation of answer scripts will be done by the school teachers up to class VIII on the basis of the marking scheme provided by the board. The class test will be taken periodically.
Evaluation Method: (B) There will be verification of assessment procedures carried out in the school by the board officials/ nominees appointed by the Board. Class IX & X will appear for the CBSE Board Exam. 33% from internal assessment and 33% from external assessment are mandatory criteria for the promotion.
